Software changes in existing tunnels on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat must be carried out according to the WWAS (Work Procedures Adaptation Software in existing tunnels, part of the tunnel standard). Based on impact assessment, which heavy-duty regime is to be applied, is determined. The severity regime to be applied leads to a number of documents to be drawn up, which provide a good insight into the risks and allows for a controlled implementation of the requested changes.
